When it comes down to it, almost all programs for lawyers are either social events or technical in nature. Very few programs help lawyers figure out the relationship aspects of being a successful lawyer. And often these are the most important in determining a lawyer's success. The Lawyer's Forum exists to help lawyers figure out where to take their legal career, and do it in the most humane and civilized way. We're there to answer questions that attorneys may be unable or unwilling to ask. What topics are covered?
We cover a range of topics, such as the following:
Partnership: Hear from other lawyers how to capture this increasingly elusive trophy.
Salaries: Is your salary competitive in your firm and in the industry? We'll help you determine whether what you earn is fair.
Work/Life balance: Is time with your family and a successful career still something you can strive for?
Alternative careers in law: If you've had enough, and are looking for something new, our lawyers can offer real advice.
Who supports the Forum?
Contributors: The Forum is supported by members of the legal profession who agree to appear on our panels.
Moderator: The Forum is moderated by attorneys who understand the challenges that lawyers face, and who are committed to providing lawyers with resources they need to overcome these challenges.
The Attendees: above all, the Forum exists for and because of lawyers like you.
